Around Langdon
Langdon is a small community approximately 20 minutes east of Calgary. Full of quaint streets and friendly people with tons of heart, Langdon is the perfect place to call home.
Known as the “Good Luck Town,” residents count themselves lucky to have found such a special hamlet to live - with sports fields, shops, a grocery store, doctors, dentists, schools and a golf course; Langdon has what you need and is only a short jaunt to the city for anything else. With access to the north and south ends of Calgary it’s also perfect for commuters.
Schools
There are currently two elementary schools (K-5) Sarah Thompson School and (K-9) Langdon School and a soon-to-be Junior/Senior High school. The new school is under construction and scheduled to open for the 2024/2025 school year.

Have a coffee at Prairie Grounds Coffee House or dinner at the Firehouse Bar and Grill or Il Bricco.
Outdoor Activity
The Track, an 18-hole golf course weaves through the neighborhood of Boulder Creek Estates
The town has six ball diamonds, sports courts (including tennis, basketball and even an outdoor rink in the winter), along with numerous playgrounds for kids.
